"One strike and yer out" is awful. And having talked to Jim many times, I did not get a sense that he was the abusive or even dismissive type. On top of everything else, his apology seemed quite sincere, not one written by a press rep--e.g., "I'm sorry if my statements hurt anyone...etc."
I do wonder what the York will become...
