I have been to nearly 1000 broadway and off-broadway shows and I've never left one at intermission. There's been plenty that I have disliked but there's always just enough curiosity on how the show may end - and I'm already at the theater. When reading threads like this I often wonder if the same lack of curiousity that makes people leave is what causes many to dismiss things that don't meet their immediate expectations. I prefer to lean in and wonder just what the makers of the piece intend and why.
Maybe I would feel different if I lived just down the street from the theater...
