| You're right but depending on the family, it can turn into something much more complicated than it needs to be. I've been involved in helping to plan memorials where we received so much criticism from the families that we had to eventually either ignore their input or cancel the event altogether. The dimming of the lights is for the Broadway community: both the people who work here and the people who buy the tickets to enable the people to work here. |
