Not really a great comparison as the ice shows tend to try to have as many weekend shows as possible. Most runs are short of a full week not because of the time it takes to move (though the extra time can allow for longer jumps) but because the market will only support a certain number of performances and those really need to be on the weekend. In theory an ice show could do split weeks, but the weekday grosses usually don't make it worth the effort. Nearly all the locations played have there own ice making equipment (though the schedule must allow for the ice to build up if the previous arena event was a basketball game or concert) though some may require a tank and ice equipment. In many cases the show can't move into the building until after another is out of the building (possibly earlier in the same week). In an interesting related item--when the circus used to play Madison Square Garden, it was sometimes necessary to take most of the show out of the arena for a regularly scheduled one night sports event (and then load it back in early the next morning before a 3 show day).
