The Counter at the Laura Pels

Hi all,

I absolutely loved this. It's a finely observed, quiet two-hander (almost-- 3 actors) directed by
David Cromer about a sad waitress and a tragic customer who become friends. It's all about intimate moments,
lots of pauses, and there's never a false one. It's hopeful.

Everything is virtuosic, from the writing by Meghan Kennedy, to the performances by
Anthony Edwards and Susannah Flood.

It's like $25 on TDF, and it's your theater dollars exceptionally well spent. Definitely check this one out.
