| Siepi was starred opposite Georgia Brown in the short-lived "Carmelina" whose source, the very funny film "Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell" was used to some extent for "Mamma Mia". "Carmelina", which has many admirers of its score, didn't last long, and apparently Siepi wasn't available for the recording, so Paul Sorvino was hired in his stead for his vocals. |
