I know they’re expensive, but either Aladdin or Lion King would be an excellent choice. These are stories he might already be familiar with and seeing them come alive before his very eyes could be the thrill of a lifetime. I fondly remember my first Broadway show. That show set the stage (if you will) for a lifetime of theater going and performing.
Both Aladdin and Lion King have just enough magic and spectacle to keep someone his age engaged.
Wicked will be a great choice in a few years when he’s just a bit older,
