OK
yes Mary did wear a ear prompter for the first 12 weeks,
all of Dallas, LA and then the first day in Phoenix,
it was in Phoenix that the ear prompter started to pick up taxi calls, and Mary removed it,
that night she did it all on her own, and the prompter was gone the next day.

the book was written to sell...
some is very true, some is made up and a lot in between

the main difference between the two ladies is the style of comedy
Carol believed you wait for the laugh to die out
Mary believed you keep the laugh going and as soon as it starts to dip you say the next line to top it...
the ladies worked it out.

Gary Beach was amazing it the show had come into NYC he would of had the TONY that year.

Currently the T Lady is back on Broadway with her 16th show on the boards. living the dream

The Legends tour was so much fun,
Black tie party for every opening
toast of the town we played over 20 cities

yes its true what happened in Boston
"I was in the room when it happened"
