| I found one actor difficult to understand throughout, and it marred my early investment in that character's development in the piece as a whole. But I must also add: the production seems to still be working with the sound design, as different levels were noted throughout (and anecdotal evidence: discussed at the intermission, as people in the long rest room lines landed on comprehension as a common complaint). It feels as if the mics are more area variety, but some characters did seem to have body mics. Perhaps it's an issue with the music - there's a fair amount of singing - but again, it was erratic in execution less than a week into previews. | |
