Odd how alcohol consumption seems to be decreasing everywhere (many bars now offer mocktails) except the theater. The drop seems to be most prevalent amongst younger adults, the very group theater says it is trying to attract. I have no objection really to theaters selling cocktails to be consumed before the show or at intermission (and I know that it is usually not finished until one has thaken their seat and the second act has begun) but a bottle of wine which is going to be continuously consumed during the show, no.
