The full two plays...which I saw on Broadway in 2019...ran a combined 4 and half hours or so...not including intermissions. Now the play on Broadway is 3 hours and 10 minutes...not including an intermission. The touring version is now 2 and a half hours...not including intermission. So I guess 2 hours has just been cut now? How does the story even get told in that amount of time? And John Tiffany has said it's the "best version" of the script. How is that possible? Has anyone seen it in Chicago yet? How does it compare to the original 2 play version? Or the new 1 play version?
