I absolutely hated it. And even more so, I don't understand why people would enjoy it. The relationships felt superficial. The conflicts felt cliche. The characters were largely not just not particularly likable, but boring. And the music was. . . a nice relief from having to watch everyone talk? I sincerely don't see what people got out of it. I kept thinking that maybe as the child of hippie era musicians I had seen this story enough for it not to be compelling to me. But when I really stop and think about it, I have a hard time even identifying why it would be to others. What insight or emotion does this offer that hasn't been seen and done a million times in more compelling ways?
