THE GREEN ROOM 42 – the intimate concert venue dubbed Broadway's "off-night hotspot" by The New York Times – will present Natalie Joy Johnson on Tuesday, October 8 at 9:30 PM. On the heels of her twin triumphs as Suzy Solidor in Broadway's Lempicka and as Diana in the Barrington Stage production of Next to Normal, Johnson returns to the venue with a new evening of show tunes, pop hits, and her original dance singles. Joined by music director Brian Nash, Johnson is always bold, irreverent, hysterical, and surprisingly tender. Joel Waggoner will be the special guest.

Natalie Joy Johnson was most recently seen as Diana in Next to Normal at Barrington Stage. She originated the role of Suzy Solidor in Lempicka on Broadway, after creating the role at the Williamstown Theatre Festival (2018) and La Jolla Playhouse (2022). Her other Broadway credits include Kinky Boots (Pat) and Legally Blonde (Enid Hoopes – OBC). Other favorites include the first national tour of Legally Blonde (Paulette), Southern Comfort (Cori), and 2004's Off-Broadway production of Bare: A Pop Opera (Nadia). TV roles include "High Maintenance" (HBO) and "Difficult People" (Hulu). Natalie is an accomplished cabaret artist, selling out shows all over NYC, performing internationally, and creating two multi-year residencies at queer clubs in NYC. Her singles "Gorgine" and "Get Into It... Queen" (by Miss Natalie) are available wherever you stream music, and the videos can be found on YouTube. Natalie is a proud graduate of Mary Washington.

Brian J. Nash is an award-winning pianist, singer, musical director, orchestrator, and producer who has been based in New York since 2002. Brian has been the music director of many off-Broadway and regional musicals, and works in concert with Jennifer Holliday, Deborah Cox, Andy Bell (Erasure), Ana Gasteyer, Laura Benanti, Tiffany, Shoshana Bean, Christina Bianco, and many others. Brian recently sold out a run at the Sydney Cabaret Festival, and performs around the world as both a solo artist and music director. He has produced and played on pop and rock records for Justin Tranter, Boys Like Girls, Peppermint, and Stacy Allyn Baker, and many cabaret and cast albums. He holds a degree in opera performance from Boston Conservatory and has taught master classes in song interpretation all over the world. Brian's collaboration with Natalie Joy Johnson has resulted in two multi-year residencies in NYC, and recording with their band, Miss Natalie. The new song list includes works by Stephen Sondheim, David Yazbek, Steven Lutvak, and more, accompanied by a five-piece band under the music direction of Yasuhiko Fukuoka. Mónica Huarte directs with musical staging by Jason Wise.

REEVE CARNEY

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and actor Reeve Carney returns to the club. The recent star of Broadway's Hadestown, Reeve is known for his portrayal of Dorian Gray on Showtime's "Penny Dreadful," Riff Raff in Fox's Rocky Horror Picture Show Reimagining, as well as originating the role of Peter Parker in Julie Taymor/U2's Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. Featuring selections from his 5-time Independent Music Award-winning album, Youth Is Wasted, as well a few surprises from the Broadway canon and the Great American Songbook, Reeve delivers a one-man-show cabaret that feels more like an invitation-only after-party than a traditional concert performance.

Internationally acclaimed singer, actor and impressionist Christina Bianco is back, with her first NYC show in 18 months! Join her for an unadulterated celebration of the icon that is Barbra Streisand. Using the text of Barbra's self-penned books, My Name Is Barbraand My Passion for Design as her guide, Christina will use Streisand's words to highlight important moments of her musical career and illuminate the meticulous manner in which she's lived her incredibly unique life. With accompaniment by arranger and music director Ryan MacKenzie, expect to hear Streisand classics - in the voices of Christina, Barbra and a few other celebrities, too.

Joe Posa and Seth Sikes will unite for a performance of "Tributes," a fun homage to iconic female legends. The show combines two worlds of performance art together: female impersonation and live song. Joe Posa will impersonate Joan Rivers, Barbra Streisand, and Liza Minnelli, while Seth Sikes will enchant audiences with his soulful voice, singing nostalgic melodies made famous by Judy Garland, Bernadette Peters, and other female legends. And together they will duet on classic diva duets!

"American Idol" finalist and two-time BroadwayWorld Cabaret Award winner Ava Nicole Frances honors her dreams and aspirations with the songs she's longed to sing – songs that spark the imagination and have the power to turn a vision into reality. In this all-new show, Ava merges the worlds of Broadway, pop, the Great American Songbook and her own originals, including songs from Stephen Sondheim, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Meredith Willson, and Rodgers and Hammerstein, among many others. Ava's special guests include the hilarious Susie Mosher, Canadian "The Voice" finalist David Marino, "American Idol" contestant Luke-Michael, and musical director Michael Collum.

Fifth Annual Holiday Show

Celebrate the spirit of the season with award-winning singer/songwriter, Michael Mott. This joyous, heartwarming evening of seasonal classics and Mott's original holiday material features the composer on piano and vocals, joined by stars from the Broadway stage, who will be announced at a later date. The setlist includes "Winter Wonderland," "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," "Joy to the World," "Sleigh Ride," "O Holy Night," "Deck the Halls," "O Come All Ye Faithful," "Let It Snow," and many more. Musical direction is provided by Broadway's Joshua Zecher-Ross (Once Upon a One More Time, Be More Chill). Orchestrations are provided by Zecher-Ross and Drama Desk Nominee Kim Scharnberg (The Great Gatsby, Little Women).
