| I think Farrow is a solid stage actor, and she's solid here -- though I've seen her better. It helps that Sharon is the more developed role of the two. I also wonder if scarcity plays a part: New York audiences are used to LuPone and know what she can do. Farrow, while not an unknown commodity, appears far less frequently. |
