When asked why she stayed in the original "Cabaret" for so long (2 1/2 years) she said, "Just to spite Walter Kerr". Good for her! "When asked if she ever had a chance to play Sally in the film version of Cabaret, she said: “No, they always wanted Liza Minnelli for the movie. She’s still doing the movie!” :)
