| Yes, I did. I thought it was an interesting play, almost Shavian in its pursuit of paradoxes. But it is also rather formless, it resists settling on any one theme or conflict. And Robert Downey, Jr. though appealing and up there on stage for almost 90 plus minutes is playing an enigma. And that's a hard thing for an actor to play. I wouldn't say the audience was particularly satisfied but there are enough ideas in the play and enough star power to give the whole show a bit of a sparkly buzz. |
