| Alan, it's not so much that they moved the venue (which had been been used for many years), but that there was a big downgrading of the talent and accessibility for the free shows that had been a tradition before Adams took over as Brooklyn Borough President. Marty Markowitz talked and made announcement almost non-stop for an hour or so before the concert started, but after all that, he got great names and acts to perform. |
