The 2015 production of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE had onstage seats. I don't remember if the seats were cheaper than the rest. I sat there. It was kind of intense given that production.
The Rylance TWELFTH NIGHT/RICHARD III also had onstage seats. Think they were cheaper based on what I see online. I don't know if I saw it from those seats or not.
To your point, they are sometimes cheaper or, maybe, same cost as non-premium orchestra. They are kind of a thrill if done well. |
