dramedy, thank you for the detailed information! I didn't know about Iceman Cometh in 1999. I wonder if that was a one-time thing for $100 pricing, or that became the norm afterwards. It seems like a long time between Iceman for $100 in 1999 and August: Osage County for $110 in 2008.
I do worry a little that the $1400 pricing for Merrily kind of opened the door for insane pricing to come. |
