It is not apparent in the trailers I’ve seen. But transparency in trailers is clearly not the goal. I had people ask me why the remake of mean girls not realizing it was a musical—same with color purple they clearly avoided songs in the early trailers.
I’m curious. I assume both movies are filmed at the same time and movies don’t film in sequence. And trailers are built on existing footage. So does the trailer contain footage from the second movie? They see the wizard in one trailer and I assume that is in the second movie. I kind of think they will end the first movie with defying gravity. |
