I knew someone who had conducted her in at least one of her Broadway shows years ago, and I asked him if she was difficult to deal with. He said that it wasn't exactly that she was being difficult, but he got a very strong vibe and apparently manifestations of "entitlement" from her. That was the word he used, even from way back.
