| I went to the festival’s official website. Shows that are selected are self produced. That means you bring your show in, already cast, rehearsed and ready for performance. They supply the stage, lights, sound , props and furniture from their stock. While this is also true for other festivals ie. Edinburgh, they require that you cast New York actors only and it appears that submissions are only open to productions from within a thirty mile radius of New York. Again not a bad thing. I love to go to new musical festivals but for the “Fall/Winter” festival, they didn’t have a listing of shows or any link to purchase tickets, just a message to check back later.” |
