Is it revivable? Probably not. Even then, the reviews noted several plot holes. The whole piece -- which I've only read, never seen -- is designed to keep erecting obstacles to the leads getting together as a couple. By the time it finally happens, it hardly seems worth it. There's a scene in which Farrow's character catches Perkins' character with a bimbo actress. The latter emerges hastily from the bedroom, unaware that, in her haste to avoid getting caught, she has put her dress on inside out. It's that kind of play.
