| NEW MUSICAL COMEDY "THE BIG GAY JAMBOREE” STARRING AND CO-CREATED BY THE SELF-APPOINTED "QUEEN OF OFF-BROADWAY” MARLA MINDELLE TO OFFER $20 TO"GAY”TIX LOTTERY TICKETS FOR FIRST 10 PERFORMANCES PERFORMANCES BEGIN SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 AT THE ORPHEUM THEATRE OPENING NIGHT NOW SET FOR MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 New York, NY (August 30, 2024) – Producers Sue Wagner, John Johnson, and LuckyChap announced today that a limited number of $20 tickets will be available via a TodayTix lottery for the first ten performances of Marla Mindelle 's brand new musical, The Big Gay Jamboree. The lottery will open at 9:00am ET this Friday, August 30 and will close at 11:15pm ET on Thursday, September 5th. Winners of all select performances will be notified via email on Thursday, September 6th. Entrants may request 1 or 2 tickets, and entry is free and open to all. This lottery is available in the TodayTix app only, and folks looking to enter may do so by downloading the app in the Apple or Android store. The Big Gay Jamboree is directed and choreographed by Connor Gallagher, features a book by Mindelle and Jonathan Parks-Ramage, with music & lyrics by Mindelle and Philip Drennen. Performances begin on September 14, with an opening night now set for September 30, at the Orpheum Theatre (126 2nd Avenue). The cast includes Marla Mindelle (Stacey), Alex Moffat (Keith), Paris Nix (Clarence), Constantine Rousouli (Bert), Natalie Walker (Flora), with Jaden Dominique, Brad Greer, Jeremiah Ginn, Amanda Lee, Jillian Mueller, Olivia Puckett, Melvin Tunstall, Clyde Voce, Cortney Wolfson, and John Yi rounding out the ensemble. The Big Gay Jamboree centers on Stacey (Mindelle), who after blacking out from 18 Jägerbombs, wakes up hungover in the most terrifying place of all: an Off-Broadway musical.
