She is wonderful in her big moment, which is, for the character, an against-all-odds moment as it is. Wow.
Interesting that Myrtle Wilson in this version (as well as Solea Pfeiffer in the Boston version) is given so much more central focus. I guess one might say that Myrtle is the character who has the most at stake and is willing to go for it.
