As an example of "live editing" vs. "non-live editing" one can look to the LIVE cinema broadcasts of shows like BILLY ELLIOT. If you saw the LIVE broadcast at a movie theater you saw some awkward and strange camera angles and edits. But, the version that was eventually released to home video fixed all those awkward moments by using different camera angles, and even editing in portions of the filming they did without a live audience. It's a far more polished filming than the one that we saw in movie cinemas. |
