Thanks to ATCers

I've been meaning to write this post for a while, to say how grateful I am for people's recommendations and information and insight. I have learned a lot here.

Right now, I'm reading David Loud's autobiography, based on a conversation here. And I've got the Bridge of San Luis Rey on hold at the library, because a conversation here made me want to reread it. I also read Sondheim: His Life, His Shows, His Legacy, again, because of a conversation here.

I've also found discounts I didn't previously know about. I'm particularly grateful for those!

And I've gotten answers to questions about musical technique and theory, which were very helpful.

Thanks, thanks, thanks!

Speaking of the Sondheim book, I was actually disappointed in it. It's a physically gorgeous book (although the typeface is way too small), and it strives to be thorough and informative. But it's sloppy, and the writing is often awkward. I've connected to my review, if anyone cares to read it.
