Back in 2022 I had the pleasure of seeing Lillias White do a show at the Purple Room in Palm Springs. For the life of me I can't remember what Sara Vaughan she sang (if anyone was there too and remembers, please let me know!), but it was stunning. She mentioned she was recording a Sarah Vaughan tribute album. Very excited for the release and I might just have to get back to NY to see her show at 54 Below if she doesn't bring it out to the west coast.
