God I love you, Alan! What would we do without your posts? It's interesting that Prince could make such a threat. Presumably, he was doing so as a producer as opposed to as a director? Perhaps I'm wrong, but I would assume the director of a stage production wouldn't really have a say in whether/how a score was recorded?
