I saw the production the first week of August. Really really good. Julia Murney nails everything and her Send in the Clowns is stunningly acted, even if that great big voice of hers is wasted. Miss Turner was everything I had hoped for. She was a bit shaky in her Glamorous Life verse so I was worried, but her Liaisons was perfect. Mike McGowan was a well cast Frederick and effortless with the music and very sexy. Lora Lee Gayer was a broad but very effective Charlotte. The only disappointment was the Anne, much too contemporary and secure. I really liked the Greek Chorus as the servants, and they had a turntable which was put to excellent use.
