Benj Pasek, Justin Paul and Marc Shaiman reveal how they wrote ''Which of the Pickwick Triplets Did It?,'' Steve Martin's tongue-twisting tour de force.

Shaiman knew Martin could pull off the patter song 'cuz he once saw Martin at a Hollywood party do ''The Music Man's'' ''Rock Island'' number by himself.

If Pasek & Paul win the Emmy (alongside Shaiman & Scott Wittman) for their ''Pickwick'' tune, Pasek & Paul will complete their EGOT. (And I bet they do!)
