JRB describes how THE CONNECTOR's opening number changed

In the second of a series of videos about the music of The Connector, Jason Robert Brown discusses the importance of opening numbers and explains why his first two attempts for the opening number of The Connector weren't right for the show. It's a wonderful peek into the creative process of writing a song.

The first video in the series ("THE CONNECTOR Deep Dive Issue #1:Cluster" on YouTube) explains some of the music theory that informs the opening moments of the show, and is equally fascinating.
