The complete cast includes 10 actors as regular cast members and 4 understudies. There is some doubling, but there are more speaking parts in Romeo and Juliet than listed. The last revival had 22 regular cast members. So something is being done to the script, although there is no one credited for that role in the press release. There are two people listed as "dramaturgy and text consultants," but it seems that the textual changes are substantial and I would think they would merit credit as such.
The press release also credits Drew Leary with "Violence," which is an odd way of putting it. His previous Broadway credits are for Fight Direction. |
