Not that they are nearly as rare, but TCM is also showing "The Philadelphia Story" at 11:30AM, "On Golden Pond" at 6PM, "State of the Union" at 8PM and "The Madwoman of Chaillot" at 2AM.

Six days later on Aug. 24th, when Grace Kelly is the star of the day, TCM will air "The Country Girl" at 12PM. For those who haven't seen it, this is actually a very good adaptation of Odets's play, with Kelly and Crosby successfully cast against type and Holden just as successfully cast to it. Unlike many of even the best stage-to-screen adaptations of the 1950s, no attempt is made to water it down for the public. The only change I can think of is that Elgin is now a faded star of musicals instead of plays, I assume to capitalize on Crosby being a singer. His journey remains intact.
