| I just fixed an omelette with Muenster cheese and was reminded of Lois Lane in "It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's Superman!", as she was just on her way to buy some Muenster cheese when she was abducted, as she explains before singing "I'm Not Finished Yet". Any food items that bring to mind a musical when you're eating or cooking? I guess corn in "Corn is as high as an elephant's eye" in "Oklahoma!" also works, though corn also brings to mind a silly infamous story about one of Broadway's great musical ladies. :) I never ordered it, but finnan haddie brings to mind Mary Martin singing "My Heart Belongs to Daddy"; Martin said somewhere that she thought she had ordered it once, but didn't remember. There's also "Coffee in a Cardboard Cup" from "70, Girls, 70". |
