| Yes. As part of a nearly, if not totally, sold out crowd, we were held outside the house until at least 2:05pm before the announcement was made. I was there with 25 others, all of whom had traveled to Chicago from various locales in the northeast at the invitation of friends associated with the show. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. One of the New York producers told me afterwards that the cast was ready, and the orchestra was warming up in the pit, but the Goodman cancelled due to an issue with technical staff. |
