| What a fun trip down memory lane. Thanks for flagging it. I certainly don't begrudge people knowing what they want to do from a young age and pursuing the appropriate education and training. Now, there are virtual armies of "fully trained" musical theatre majors hitting the pavement each Spring. So, it does seem, these days, an origin story like Donna's -- being a teenage ballerina taking a chance on an audition for a Broadway musical -- couldn't really happen. |
