Yes, that's odd, and it wasn't obvious because on both the Broadway and London original cast recordings, that part of the entr'acte was cut. I do wonder how it came to be included in the entr'acte. I first heard the full entr'acte when I saw the 1987 production when it played its first pre-Broadway tryout engagement in Wilmington, Delaware, but that production was the one in which "I Don't Care Much" was first added to the show so it wasn't clear that it had been in the entr'acte also in the original production.

It's not like "Colorado, My Home" being in the Unsinkable Molly Brown overture because that song was cut from the show so late that it was listed in the opening-night playbill, although I think only as a reprise at the end, being used as the finale. Things seem to be have been changing around so quickly just before opening that I think it was accidentally listed as a reprise even though it had not been heard earlier in the show. But in that case, the song had been in the show when it opened out of town and had probably been in the show till near the end of the tryout.

I can think of a couple of other shows where cut songs were in either the overture or the entr'acte, but in those cases the cut music remained in the shows either as underscoring or dance music.
