Their website could use an updated makeover, but yes, Footlight is still in business. I just ordered a couple of CDs last month. I called ahead (203-544-8288) and spoke to Bruce Yeko. He asked me to send my payment as a check, and I received the CDs shortly after. I was very pleased with my purchase.
I do, however, still miss the Footlight Records store that was on 12th St. in the West Village. It was fun to browse through the bins and make discoveries. |
