First play, during a visit to NYC in October 1977: Edward Gorey's production of Dracula, with Frank Langella. (It was preview week, 2 or 3 nights before they opened, and they were cookin'!)

When I moved here in 1981, the first show I saw, my very first night as a resident, was 42nd Street with the original cast.
