Huh...???
I saw this play off Broadway, and came away from it thinking it was totally ambiguous whether he actually was the child abuser. And I'm pretty sure I read at least one interview with the playwright where he discussed the deliberate ambiguity.
And when is it said or implied that her breakdown was just a cover story - don't they watch video of the breakdown?
I also recall her putting away the gun without shooting him.
I can't believe I would miss these plot points if they were so clear...is this your interpretation that you've decided is fact? Or did the script change for Broadway? |
