Oops. thanks for the year correction.
I'd put Lily Tomlin, Rita Moreno and Cicely Tyson in the same category as Billy Crystal, Renée Fleming, Sally Field. Very good performers who have performed on Broadway, but who are primarily known for other mediums. I don't recall any of their tributes at the Kennedy Center Honors highlighting their theater credits |
