I thought that SUFFS told an important story and the score served the material well. I enjoyed it so I bought the CD. I'm retired and I go to a gym every day. I walk at least an hour on a track and listen to Broadway cast recordings while I'm walking. If I like a new show and find the score interesting, I'll usually buy the CD. I rotate my CDs so I always listen to them multiple times (unless I get tired of them).

Regarding revivals, I rarely buy the CD unless the cast is exceptionally good. I passed on the CD for Gutenberg! and The Wiz, but after seeing Merrily for a second time, I could not resist not having the CD with that great cast.
