| You're right. I should have remembered that because the title of the song at the beginning of the show undercuts Before The Parade Passes By which brings down Act I's curtain. I assume it was in the show before they went out of town (maybe long before) and cut either because it was for Merman or because, out of town, it undercut the new first act finale song. (it was originally the spot for Penny in My Pocket. |
