Congrats to Tom Viola, who's done so much hard work and devoted his great heart to 36 years of serving Broadway Cares/Equity Fight AIDS. As the press release notes, Tom's raised over $300 million under his leadership, and earned a 2010 Tony Honor for Excellence in the Theater. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with him when I produced ''The Leading Men'' concerts for BC/EFA (2005-2009). Tom's always been such a gentleman and generous spirit, and I'm gratified that another class act, Danny Whitman, will take over BC/EFA in 2025. |
