| I really have no idea why the show costs $1.1m a week. Maybe redmayne salary is high instead of a salary plus percentage. So maybe replacement cast will be a lot less for weekly costs. But at $1.6m minus 10% fees minus weekly cost its down to $400k and about 60% of that goes to investors typically. So that’s less than $1m a month for a $22m production where the stars had a 6 month contract (he’s also producer). It may look like huge grosses but I’m guessing Hell’s Kitchen is bringing in a lot more to investors each week and isn’t a star driven show so can maintain grosses with replacement casts. |
