| I realize it is unlikely you will acknowledge it, but that is actually incorrect analytically. You are thinking in terms of a single performance, but making a show successful (and that is what we are talking about, isn't it?) is based on a run that can be continued/extended, and that is exactly what you aim for when you nurture young and diverse audiences. Moreover, when we speak about young audiences, we are also replacing audiences that age out over time. Failure to understand resonance is how we got where we are. |
