I've always loved Faye Dunaway in ''Network'' and ''Bonnie & Clyde,'' so it was wonderful to see her, now at 83, recall the highs and lows of her career.
Stagewise, it was terrific to get glimpses of her playing Maria Callas in ''Master Class,'' and what a shame she never got to finish that film.
The documentary also shows a quick shot of a headline proclaiming how she was ''dumped'' from ''Sunset Boulevard,'' but doesn't go into any details.
Dunaway is quite compelling and candid in this documentary, and I hope this renewed interest leads her back onto the stage or screen someday soon. |
