I enjoyed the bway version in person very much, but I'm so in love with the lower register of Judy Kuhn's voice that it's impossible for me to be unbiased on the production as a whole.
There was another version of Chess I saw in a tiny theater, perhaps a church, on the UWS in the early 90s that was fantastically entertaining as well. I wish I could remember details. |
