Sunset Boulevard has not announced Sherzinger's alternate but they have announced that she will not be performing on Tuesdays post-opening. Similarly, while Cabaret did recently announce which alternates would be performing when, the fact that there would be alternates for the MC and Sally on Mondays and Wednesdays, respectively, was announced when tickets went on sale.
Also, I'm of course not dramedy but I read that an alternate might be necessary in the second sentence of your post ("I wonder if Audra will do all 8 shows, or if they will build in a Donna Murphy situation to give her a break from a monster role.") |
